A little about me and my studio.

Hello!

 

My name's Kealey, and I am the owner of the Hair by Kealey Studio. My business was started in 2022 after relocating with my family from Surrey, and finally being able to make my home salon dreams come true!

​

I first started my hairdressing career back in 2013 with the well regarded salon chain Headmasters. After starting my apprenticeship, I realised doing hair was my passion.

 

However, I never really felt like a "typical hairdresser". I wasn't loud, extroverted or comfortable in the busy, chaotic salon. I also struggled with burn out and overwhelm during my years in the traditional high street salon setting. But I knew I loved what I was doing, so kept going.

In 2021 I had a revelation that I was neurodivergent. My whole life suddenly made sense, no wonder I always felt so out of place, and exhausted from masking all day

​

And so, the Hair by Kealey Studio was created. A private, calm, 1-1 space for people just like me. People that feel out of place in the loud, buzzing traditional salons. Who so want to enjoy having their hair done as they truly want, but have never found the right place or stylist.

My studio is a safe space, so come as you are, make yourself at home and let's have a chat about making your hair dreams a reality!
